"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."
We eagerly welcome all children to join us for our children's ministries! Our goal is to provide a warm, caring environment where children can have fun, build relationships, learn about the wonder of God's love and grow in their relationship with Him.
Opportunities for our children are listed below. If you have any questions, please email Sarah Butler or call 772-286-9958 x102.
NEW PROCEDURES EFFECTIVE AUGUST 30, 2020
Sunday School: We have missed worshiping with our children and families and are pleased to announce that Sunday morning children's ministry will return in a new format on August 30th! Sunday school for children in preschool-5th grade will transition to a hybrid model offering multiple options for families. A social-distanced, in-person option will be available from 9:30-10:30 in Langill Hall.
Children whose families would prefer that they participate virtually will be able to listen to and participate in the 9:30 a.m. class via Zoom. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can prepare a supply kit for your child to use at home if participating virtually.
A recording of the Zoom session will also be emailed to all families each Sunday after the class for those wishing to engage in the lesson at a later time.
Sunday School Safety Procedures: New social distancing and safety procedures will be emailed to all families and will be posted at check-in. Please note that all students will be checked in and dismissed in the Langill Hall lobby, and parents will not be able to accompany their child upstairs. Click here to view a complete list of the new protocols.
Nursery: Beginning August 30th, the nurseries in the Huizenga Family Life Center (HFLC) and the Courtyard near Langill Hall will be open for families. Unfortunately, they will not be staffed at this time. A maximum capacity of 3 children and 3 adults will be in place to allow for social distancing with adults wearing a face covering if they aren't in the same family. The worship service will be live-streamed into the HFLC nursery at 9:30 so that any families needing to use it may still observe the contemporary service. A recording of the 8:30 traditional worship service will be available to any families utilizing the Courtyard Nursery during the 11:00 worship service. Safety guidelines for nursery use will be posted in each location.
Preschooler's Corner: We have begun a weekly PCPC Preschool Storytime for our 3- to 5-year-olds! Every week, we will feature a 10-15 minute prerecorded message. Preschoolers will listen to a 5-10 minute Bible story or story with a biblical message, then hear a brief, age-appropriate discussion. We will typically feature a book that can be found in our new PCPC children's library!
We hope this helps provide some age-appropriate Bible storytime for our younger children during this time when we are missing being together for Sunday school.

PCPC Virtual VBS: We had a phenomenal week of our first ever VIRTUAL PCPC VBS, where we learned to Focus and Take a Closer Look at God. Thank you to all of the families who joined us and helped make this such a wonderful experience! If you weren’t able to participate during our virtual week, it’s not too late! Our Virtual VBS links will be available on our website until September 1! Click here for details.
PCPC Kids Club Participants: Stay tuned for updates
Please note that changes may be made if deemed necessary, or if changes are made to the Martin County School District's plan.
Thank you for your patience as we navigate these challenges to meet the needs of our families and children safely!
