We’re seeking individuals or couples to serve in our Shepherd Program. If you have a caring heart and want to make a difference in the lives of others, consider becoming a shepherd.
This ministry, which began more than 40 years ago, helps ensure that every PCPC member is cared for. You’ll be given names and contact information of members who attend the same worship service as you. Shepherds care for their “flock” by welcoming them at church, praying for them, staying in touch, and sending greeting cards. If a member of your flock is sick, having surgery, or facing a difficult situation, a coordinator will notify you so that you can pray and send a card. The church provides all cards, and home visits are not required. This is a meaningful ministry that can be done conveniently from home.
About 60 shepherds are currently serving, but as our congregation grows, we always need more. Interested in joining this ministry? Please call the church office at 772-286-9958 to express interest!
