Cornerstone is Palm City Presbyterian Church's worship band. We lead worship every Sunday at our 9:30 contemporary service in the Huizenga Family Life Center. We are a dedicated, fun-loving group of local singers and musicians from a variety of backgrounds with a common passion for music. We play covers of contemporary Christian music (current selections as well as congregational favorites). Rather than holding a weeknight rehearsal each week, we post our song files for the band (like they are posted for your audition materials), and band members rehearse on their own so they are prepared for Sunday morning's 8:00 a.m. rehearsal. We hold one Wednesday night full band rehearsal per month solely for the purpose of rehearsing new songs that will be brought into worship soon. We aim to have songs and schedules posted one month in advance and ask that band members keep their availability updated with band leadership so that all positions are covered each week.
