"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."
We eagerly welcome all children to join us for our children's ministries! Our goal is to provide a warm, caring environment where children can have fun, build relationships, learn about the wonder of God's love and grow in their relationship with Him.
Opportunities for our children are listed below. If you have any questions, please email Cathy Coco or call the church office at 772-286-9958.
IMPORTANT UPDATES
New Director of Children's Ministry and Family Outreach: PCPC has a new Director of Children's Ministry and Family Outreach, Sherrey Pridmore. She begins her ministry with us on Sunday, March 7, 2021. Sherrey has gifts that are well known to us for building relationships, connecting with parents, and organizing and planning events. She is the wife of our Youth Director, Jason Pridmore. Sherrey has extensive ministry experience and has worked with Jason for two decades, although in a volunteer capacity. They are excited to begin working together on staff, and she is thrilled to make ministry her vocation. A special thank you to our parents who encouraged her to apply. Let's support Sherrey with our prayers and by volunteering to help with children's ministry! Click here to view a brief video introducing Sherrey.
NEW PROCEDURES EFFECTIVE AUGUST 30, 2020
Sunday School: Sunday school for children in preschool-5th grade meets Sunday mornings, socially-distanced from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in Upper Langill Hall.
Children whose families would prefer that they participate virtually may listen to and participate in the 9:30 a.m. class via Zoom. Beginning Sunday, October 4, 2020, this will be by request only. To request this option, please contact the church by the preceding Friday so that staff can prepare the virtual setup.
Sunday School Safety Procedures: Social distancing and safety procedures were emailed to all families and are posted at check-in. Please note that all students are checked in and dismissed in the Langill Hall lobby, and parents are not able to accompany their child upstairs. Click here to view a complete list of our protocols.
Nursery: Nurseries in the Huizenga Family Life Center
(HFLC) and the Courtyard near Langill Hall are open for families. They are not staffed at this time. A maximum capacity of 3 children and 3 adults is in place to allow for social distancing with adults wearing a face covering if they aren't in the same family. The worship service is livestreamed into the HFLC nursery at 9:30
so that any families needing to use it may still observe the
contemporary service. A recording of the 8:30 traditional worship
service is available to any families utilizing the Courtyard Nursery during the 11:00 worship service. Safety guidelines for nursery
use are posted in each location.
PCPC Kids Club Participants: Stay tuned for updates.
Please note that changes may be made if deemed necessary, or if changes are made to the Martin County School District's plan.
Thank you for your patience as we navigate these challenges to meet the needs of our families and children safely!
