What Our Youth Are Learning

"Prayer"

Prayer is not just asking God to give us stuff or making speeches to Him; it’s entering conversational intimacy with God. This month as we walk through the Lord’s Prayer, we will come to understand God’s intention behind prayer and how He wants to involve us in His ministry and work because of our relationship and participation in our communication with Him – through prayer.

Confirmation and Baptism Class

Last year's baptisms were held May 21 & 22 at Stuart Beach. The video montage was shown during Sunday's worship services and can be viewed now on the recordings posted to YouTube.

Confirmation was also celebrated during services on Sunday, May 23, 2021, and can be viewed on our YouTube channel posts for the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. services.

CAMP SURF/CAMP FISH/END OF SUMMER RETREAT

Camp Surf/Camp Fish is a retreat at a beach or riverfront house for our youth and chaperones in late July/early August. Depending on the theme of our camp, surfing or fishing is available (along with surf lessons/fishing tips for anyone who would like to learn), but even more important than the surfing, beach, and fishing activities, this is a time of fellowship, team

building, and leadership—preparing youth for our upcoming year of ministry.
