Current Study: DOES GOD EXIST?

Why am I here? What is the meaning of life? Can we prove the existence of God, or are we left to grapple in the dark and take blind leaps of faith about what we believe? Everyone asks these questions, and maybe you think you have the answers. But can you defend your beliefs when peers and professors are challenging your worldview?

Looking at four world views from a scientific perspective, Dr. Stephen Meyer presents an argument full of scientific evidence to help students come to their own conclusion regarding faith based on logic and reason. He then provides the tools needed to defend their faith and make it their own.

Upcoming Study: HABITS

People talk about “loving God” all the time, but there’s one problem that nobody seems to mention: you can’t see Him. Weird, right? How do you connect to someone who never seems to respond audibly? In this series, we’ll be talking about the faith habits that make it possible to connect with an invisible God. And while there’s no formula for knowing everything about God, there are key habits that will change the way we see Him at work all around us.

Confirmation and Baptism Class

in Lower Langill Hall 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.

Confirmation and Baptism Class is for any 7th-grade student (or older) to intentionally walk through the foundations of their faith and confirm the vows their parents took at their baptism. If you have not been baptized, this class serves as the necessary instructional guide for your adoption into God's family. The 13-week course began in October and is being spread out over the upcoming year, culminating with confirmation on Sunday, May 23, 2021. It is taught by Pastor David, Pastor Brad, Jason Pridmore, and other church leaders and mentors. The class includes small group experiences, as well as service projects and opportunities. Confirmation class is more of a journey than anything else, and we are excited to walk alongside you through this experience. For more information or to register, please email Jason or call/text him at (714) 809-5065.

The baptisms will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 22,  at Stuart Beach.

Camp Surf: Camp Surf is a retreat at a beach house for our youth and chaperones in late July/early August. Surfing is available (along with lessons for anyone who would like to learn—our youth director is an avid surfer and a great teacher!), but even more important than the surfing and beach activities, this is a time of fellowship, team

building, and leadership—preparing youth for our upcoming year of ministry.
