  • WALK AND TALK

Bob Snyder loves being out in nature and walks his dogs in one of the area parks every day. He wanted to share his "secret," so he helped create our new "Walk and Talk" fellowship ministry.

On the first Saturday of each month, Bob invites you to join the group's "Walk and Talk." They will meet at 9:30 a.m. in a different park each month. Join them and bring a friend! Friendly dogs are invited, too! The upcoming locations will be:

    • March 1 at Sandsprit Park in Stuart
    • April 5 at Maggie's Hammock in Port Salerno
    • May 5 at Peck Lake Park
    • June 7 at Halpatiokee Regional Park in Stuart

  • CAREGIVERs SUPPORT GROUP

As we are sometimes faced with circumstances that we would not have chosen, we are presented with the opportunity for spiritual growth and to become more like Jesus. We can become bitter or better — the choice is ours. During difficult times, the Lord often offers support through other people.

This support group is for all caregivers, regardless of diagnosis. We are a safe, established, and confidential group. Nothing discussed in our meeting leaves the room. Our group offers experience, compassion, and concern. If you are a caregiver seeking the fellowship of others, please join us! We meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 10:00 a.m. in the library. All are welcome! You do not have to attend PCPC to join us.

  • GRANDMOTHERS & others

Do you like to sew? The Grandmothers & Others sewing fellowship welcomes new members. We provide the fabric and notions; all you supply is your talent! Our group provides beautiful clothing for local children in need.

We meet once a month from 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. in the sewing room adjacent to the nursery.

  • walk aerobics

Exercise can be easy and fun! Join us at 5:15 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays for your choice of a 1 or 2-mile workout. Follow the easy movements demonstrated or do your favorites, all at your chosen pace. The key is to keep moving. The faster, farther, and more frequently you walk, the greater the benefits. AND it’s another great way to meet and get to know some of our PCPC family and friends!

Meet us upstairs in Langill Hall where we have plenty of room to space ourselves out safely.

July of 2024 marked our 18th year of walking and talking!
