PCPC MISSION FUND

February 9, 2020, Pastor David announced the creation of the PCPC Mission Fund.

  • A generous donation from a member of our church created this fund. Its purpose is to increase our mission outreach beyond what is budgeted each year.
  • Future donations received earmarked for the PCPC Mission Fund will be added to its base.
  • The donations are invested.
  • Each year the session will designate between 6% and 10% of the balance to be given to support mission outreach (minimum distribution is $10,000). These can be local and/or global missions. This is in addition to money designated for missions in the budget.

If you wish to donate to the fund, simply write “PCPC Mission Fund” on your check or offering envelope. Please include your name/address on the envelope with any cash donation so that we can give proper credit to your account. You can also donate online. Click here to use OUR SECURE GIVING WEBSITE.

LOCAL AND GLOBAL MISSIONS SUPPORTED

BLESSING BAGS

The PCPC Mission Committee is sponsoring a BLESSING BAGS project. We are collecting items for homeless men and women and will sort them into gallon Ziploc bags. Each bag will also include a listing of local ministries that offer meals and other resources.  (Please provide travel/hotel sizes for any hygiene items that you donate)

Please bring the donations to the church office during business hours. If you cannot find the items and would rather donate toward the purchase of these items, please see Janie Shubert (9:30 service) or call the church office. We plan to begin distributing the bags to the homeless during the month of September, but are continuing the collection so that more bags can be made. Thank you for your help!
